Dave Cornthwaite

Dave Cornthwaite is a British adventurer, community leader, motivational speaker, and author. Dave's adventures revolve around Expedition1000, a self-set project to complete twenty-five different journeys over 1000 miles, each using a different form of non-motorised transport. To date, he has completed fifteen of these, including skateboarding across Australia, paddleboarding the length of the Mississippi River and riding a waterbike along 1250 miles of the Norwegian coastline.

Outside of the adventures, Dave founded The YesTribe in 2015, as a supportive community for anyone wanting to make more of their time and abilities. The YesTribe now owns a few acres of woodland for confidence building and wild camping, converted a double-decker bus into a solar-powered countryside escape and has over forty regional tribes around the UK, putting on free events to bring people together in the outdoors.
